Dún Ailinne (20:00)

Dún Ailinne is a family of four siblings united by their passion for Irish music. Guitar, fiddle, cello, accordion and four voices bring to life a repertoire that blends reels, jigs, ballads and both traditional and contemporary songs. On stage, their close-knit bond and infectious energy create a warm, authentic and accessible musical experience.

If you could separate causes from results, if you could know that Paine, Marx, Jefferson, Lenin were results, not causes, you might survive. But that you cannot know. For the quality of owning freezes you for ever into “I”, and cuts you off for ever from the “we”. Dive with us into an anti-capitalist whirlpool of texts and sounds, anger and love, fraternity and freedom.

A trio to debut a piece in three parts. “To Pierce Through the Sturdiest Barriers!” is to call to what lies down at the bottom, exalt it up and over a brim, and to ask “who helps you?”.
